Dog Policy

At Comis Hotel and Golf Resort, we understand that your dog is part of the family, and we are delighted to welcome well-behaved dogs with house-trained owners to our resort. To ensure that all our guests, both human and canine, have a pleasant stay, we provide the following pet policy:

1. Booking and Room Allocation:

  • Please inform us at the time of booking if you wish to bring your dog. We allow one medium-sized dog per room in most cases. A limited number of rooms can accommodate two medium-sized dogs.
  • Dogs are welcome in designated pet-friendly rooms. These include specific Standard rooms and a limited selection of other room types. Please check availability when booking.

2. Charges and Damages:

  • A charge of £20 per night per dog applies.
  • We accept house trained dogs. In case of damage to the room, caused by a dog, we reserve the right to pass on specialist cleaning fee is £100.00 plus cost of accommodation for the days the room is out of service on to you, (or as long as room is out of service).

3. Supervision and Behaviour:

  • Dogs must not be left unattended in the room, barking or showing signs of distress. However, you may leave your dog in the room during mealtimes if the dog is used to being unaccompanied for a short period of time
  • Dogs are allowed in designated public areas of the hotel, and of the main restaurant. Pets are not allowed in the pool area, and any spa facilities.
  • Dogs must always be on a leash while in public areas of the hotel and on the hotel grounds.
  • We fully expect that owners clean up after their dogs. Waste bins are conveniently located around the hotel grounds for your use.

4. Dining with Your Dog:

  • We have designated areas in our dining rooms where you and your dog can enjoy breakfast, lunch and dinner together. Space is limited, so please let us know in advance if you wish to dine with your dog.

5. Liability:

  • Pet owners are fully liable for any injuries or damage caused by their pets to hotel staff, other guests, or property.
  • Any dog-related accidents need to be reported to the hotel reception/ Duty manager as soon as they occur.
